7 days too many!

So for some reason this month . . . wrong start.
This month has been not good for me when it comes to going to Lifetime. I managed to not go at all from March 1st to March 11th (in my defense I was in Washington DC for 6 of those days). Then once I started going again I putzed around and on March 23rd had accumulated only going 5 times (actually 6, but LT didnt count one but I promised to not let it bother me). So on March 24th my back killed and I didnt go in. That means on March 25th I had to attempt to get into LT 7 days for the rest of the month in order to get my health insurance kickback. Holy mother of pearl that meant 7 days in a row . . . . I didnt want to complain about it until I actually did it.

GUESS WHAT . . .

I did it!!!!!!!!!!! Whoooooo . . . . go me! Unless you're the kind of person that works out everyday and your body is used to it and mentally you know you go everyday then by all means go to the gym everyday. But if you're like me and you go a few times a week . . . dont ever attempt 7 days in a row. I'm tired . . . cranky and just beaten down.

crostini cracker things (not that good, actually only ate 1/2 of what you see on my plate)

Nothing changes if nothing changes

I looked up weight loss mantras and thats what came up "nothing changes if nothing changes" . . . so in an attempt to change some stuff I'm going to attempt to post pictures of what I eat for dinner (provided I made it . . . or its not a greasy sloppy pizza ;) )

Tonight Dinner:
soy dog
green beans
cooked potato

While cooking, this meal seemed like it would be boring . . .







Good news is that when it was all put together the meal was actually fairly good and way fulfilling. I was full up until I finished my workout then my sweet tooth kicked in and needed something. I gotta go stock up on some protein bars or something to figure out that situation.

2 mile elliptical
(I've been a putz at the gym today and yesterday but I have a valid reason for it . . . I'll explain tmr)

What a week :)

So I've had kind of a crazy end to the week. Thursday I had the worst back pain in my life. I like to blame it on a squat machine at LT however its probably b/c i never stretch and I dont care to warmup/cool down my muscles. My fault of course . . . however I still like to pass the blame.

Friday morning I attempted to get two miles done at the gym prior work . . . I did, slowly but I did it :)
Friday evening I went to the mall and walked around for 3 hours . . . holy hannah was my back hurting Sat morning. I also think I passed out on my friends when we were out . . . sorry, lol.

Saturday I managed to buy my freaking stand mixer . . . I"m so excited, the only sad part of the experience is that it wasn't in stock therefore I had it shipped, when it comes you'll see pictures and cookies galore ;) My co-workers will be so fat by the end of the school year based on the amount of cookies I plan to make.

I also bought sport bras. I am soooo effing excited about this purchase. I love sport bras and I know many people that hate them based on the fact that they're uncomfortable or binding or what not. But I bought these new ones

Literally think I might go back to Target and get more . . . I LOVE :)
Weird thing to post  . . . but I have to brag about something until my mixer comes.

Reunion

So I'm blogging this morning because I've made a decision . . .

Facebook sent out an invitation for my 10 year reunion (holy hannah its been 10 years) . . . a few of my close friends are planning on going and one guy who I've totally crushed on all through high school and probably even a little bit recently. I havent seen this guy in years and we live in different locations, workout at different locations and never interact . . . however I find that I really really want him to see a good side of me (who knows if I'll even interact with him that night). So heres the deal. I have 11 weeks to not look how I look. This means actually getting serious about working out and eating right.

Thoughts I'm having:
Hmm . . . 11 weeks, can 30 lbs be lost in 11 weeks???
Should I join weight watchers and get on an eating plan that forces me to be accountable?
Should (i know the answer to this one) start going to spin class again to get in a different type of cardio?
Mheh . . . I dont want to say I'm going to do things and then 10 weeks go by and I have done nothing, how can i be held accountable??

BACK!

Holy Hannah . . . I havent blogged in awhile. But good news . . . I'm back :)
Within the time gone I've been able to only put on another 13 miles towards my goal. I'm starting to think now I might not be able to attain the 1000 miles throughout the year. I mean in one month I have to try to be at 250 in order to be 'on track' . . . oh boy :)

So the past two weeks have been crazy, I've either been busy trying to arrange stuff for school, or I've been out of the state, or I've been trying to catch up on some zzz's, or I've been trying to impress guys . . . ahh My Life as Cheri (someone should totally make that a show). I'm back and I'm less busy so now its on to hitting the gym. I'm determined to get 15 visits in within the next three weeks . . . wish me luck.

I'm about to jump into the softer side of Cheri now . . . so this past weekend I went on a date with someone I would consider perfection in my eyes. Actually hes just someone that has the right physic and tough demeanor that I look for in a guy. The date went well however I"m so negative about myself that my insecurities might have gotten the better of me and pushed him away. Having that resting on my shoulders really  made me want to work harder at the gym. I dont want my physical looks to be the reason for my insecurities. That being said . . . no more pussy footing it at the gym ;)
