Every Monday I bring in cupcakes to work. I've been doing this for about 6 weeks and truth be told I'm super tired of it. But then Monday comes along and people tell me how much they look forward to them and they compare from the week prior that it makes me want to do it all again the following week.
This week the flavor is . . . .
Pumpkin Spice with Maple frosting.
Not my recipe, so I'm not really at liberty to publicize it . . . but I can let you know that these little things are yum. . . and best part, my apt smells like Christmas :)
Goal for the week: Go the gym M-F every morning . . . updates to come :)
Running, workouts, baking, eating healthy and so much more see where life leads this girl.

Dear Body
Dear Body,
I am very sorry for how I've been treating you the last few weeks.
I do regret all the crap I've been putting into you, its tasted awesome, but after its all gone I feel bad, and I know that you feel bad too (trust me . . . I know). Its sad that I dont give you enough water in the day and that I fill you with junk food instead of real nutrition. :(
I'm also sorry that I push you so hard to workout, and I dont really stretch out before and or after putting you through an hour of activity.
I'm also sorry that I put you through 13 hour days and give you only 5 to 6 hours of sleep a night . . . :(
And now that the weather is getting colder, I'm sorry I dont dress you more appropriately . . . I have warmer coats, I just choose not to wear them.
In order to make amends starting Nov. 1st I vow to do the following (for you):
1. Eat breakfast daily
2. Drink 8 glasses of water daily
3. Incorporate 3 vegetables and 2 fruits a day into my diet
4. Stretch after a workout
5. Dress warmly
6. Focus on making you healthier
When November comes Cheri is gonna do good . . . how do I know???
Because i bought these kick booty shoes to inspire me :)
Curious how I'm doing with that whole 50 miles before a new phone deal???
Saturday - 9.5 miles
Sunday - 4 miles
Tuesday - 1 mile
Wednesday - 6 miles
20.5 miles done . . . 29.5 to go :)

Me!
Alright . . . this might be a no pic post :(
Today (this morning) I'm feeling weird, had a night where I only slept a little . . . thinking A LOT . . . not good when it comes to me.
I don't like myself right now, I dont like the image I see in the mirror in the morning, I dont like how I feel when I'm with people, and I know that when I'm with a guy I do not give off good body language b/c I feel I just dont meet public expectations. I have a kick butt personality . . . conversation wise I'm awesome, however when I'm with (a male) I get soooo insecure that my personality just flies out the window.
The only thing that can really change this is me. I really need to buck up and just change some things . . . and I'm the only one who can change them. Being with friends, going out, eating arent things that make me happy any more . . . something big that makes me happy is working out. I love being able to say 'yea i ran 2 miles today' or "woot this week I did 30 miles of activity", that being said for the next MONTH (whoa) thats my focus. No more am I going to attempt to attract a guy's attention . . . no more am I going to worry about what other people think of me, no more am I going to attempt to go out and fake happy. I'm going to use free time to hit the gym and take the Saminator for a walk.
I"m refocusing myself (thus the point of this blog) and really get on the ball.
No one is going to like me if I don't like myself.

Apparently its just not right timing for me and Siri to connect :(
Yesterday I went to the AT&T store to get my iphone 4s and was told that all AT&T locations were out of stock and I could
A. order one and wait 3 weeks
B. go to Apple and see if they have any (they're sold out too)
C. wait a week or two and go back to AT&T and see if they have any in stock
Booooooo
I came home and was looking like this . . .
Instead of obsessing about it . . . I'm setting another goal for myself.
I have to get 50 miles of activity in before going to AT&T again . . . at least some good is coming from this whole waiting process . . . I'm getting lots of activity in.

Mission accomplished.
Last night was night 10 at the gym . . . woo hoo . . . thats right, gonna be a Woo girl for this one. I'm so freaking excited. This means an iphone is in sight . . . tomorrow . . . saturday soon . . . soon it'll be mine (insert evil laugh now).

Short posting . . . but here it goes
Day 8 . . . SUCCESS . . . yesterday went to the gym and did 2 miles on this and 3 miles on that. Woot to me
Day 9 . . . SUPER SUCCESS . . . completed 6 miles in the 90 minutes I was there.
I do have to say . . . BOO on Simon C (whatever his last name is) for running the X Factor on Fox tonight. Tuesday is supposed to be my favorite nite to go to the gym and watch a television . . . the night was not compete without seeing New Girl :(
Although I did finish my book . . . now I'm contemplating either downloading another book, or giving my mother her Nook back . . . thoughts??? Hmmmmmm

Filling it in . . .
In case you're all dying to know where I'm at with my 10 day mission plan . . .
Day 7 has been accomplished :)
Day 6 was Friday . . . went to the gym and did a few miles on the treadmill and a few miles on the elliptical.
Day 7 was Saturday . . . again few miles on this a few miles on that.
This morning I contemplated going to the gym . . . it didn't happen.
This afternoon I contemplated actually set a time I'd get to the gym . . . it is now past that time and I have yet to go in.

Day 2
I am one day closer to accomplishing my goal :)
Went to the gym this morning.
2 miles on the treadmil
3 miles on the elliptical
1 mile walk with sammers . . . .
6 miles accomplished today.
Was told that pre-orders for my phone are all out . . . and that it may be a couple of weeks before I can get it . . . boo freaking hoo to that news.
This week goal . . . 5 days of 4:30am alarms :)

Remotivation
I've done some major complaining about how I've lost my gym motivation and how I haven't been as active as I once was. Well I'm going to stop the complaining now.
My new little motto.
So i really really really badly want to purchase the new iphone 4s . . . why?? because I need a new phone, and because I'm tired of being the girl that has a phone no one knows nothing about, I want to be with all the hype and excitement.
So heres the deal. I get to reward myself . . . . IF and when I go to the gym 10 times/10 days, then i get to purchase my iphone. The phone comes out Oct. 14th . . . so 10 days would be Oct. 15th . . . thats the goal, thats the expectation, thats whats going to happen.
